Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. AMEN.
O my God I firmly believe in you as God of the universe. Help my little faith when I seem to distrust you due to obstacles and temptations. Increase my faith and love of you and my neighbour.
O my God relying on your everlasting goodness and promises, I hope to be forgiven for my faults and weaknesses.
O my God, I love you above all things with my whole heart and soul because you are all good and full of love. I love my neighbours as myself for love of you. I forgive all those who have hurt me and I ask pardon of all whom I have hurt.
O my God, I thank you for the good things in life that make me joyful. Teach me to use the things that you have given me with love and gratitude.
Almighty God, my loving Father, I love you with my whole heart and above all things I offer to you all my thoughts and actions, and ask you to bless me during this day. Help me so that I may always know, love and serve you and be eternally happy with you in heaven.
O God, who are truth and the origin of all knowledge, bless our studies which we consecrate to You, enlighten our minds, strengthen our memories and direct our wills towards what is right. Grant us to seek truth always and make us truly wise.
O God, infinite Wisdom and the Source of all knowledge, grant that we may remember what we have learned. We offer you our work and endeavours, our failures and successes. Forgive us our shortcomings and give us the courage to follow always the path of truth.
Teach me, My Lord, to be sweet and gentle in all the events of life, in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness of others, in the insincerity of those I trusted, in the unfaithfulness of those on whom I relied.
Let me put myself aside, to think of the happiness of others, to hide my little pains and heartaches, so that I may be the only one to suffer from them.
Teach me to profit by the suffering that comes across my path; let me so use it that it may mellow me, not harden not embitter me; that it may make me patient not irritable; that it may make me broad in my forgiveness, not narrow, haughty and overbearing.
May no one be less good for having come within my influence, no one less pure, less true, less kind, less noble for having been a fellow-traveller on our journey towards eternal life.
Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts which we are about to receive from your bounty through Christ our Lord. AMEN.
