Medical Camp at Lolay Loreto 2025

A medical camp was organised at Lolay Loreto on 8th November, 2025 by the JPIC team Loreto Convent Darjeeling in collaboration with local doctors. The camp aimed to provide free health check-ups and promote awareness about hygiene and preventive healthcare.

A team of doctors, nurse, volunteers (students) and JPIC teachers conducted general health, eye and dental check-ups and provided free medicines. A special highlight of the camp was the presence of our ex-students, who are now practicing dentists – Dr. Saatakshi Shrestha and Dr. Sujala Shrestha.Their participation and dedication was truly inspiring for the current students, showing how Loreto nurtures service – minded professionals.

The camp was a great success and helped strengthen the bond between the school and the community while promoting the message of good health and community spirit among the people of Lolay Loreto.
