Christmas Ration Distribution
The Junior School JPIC team organized a Christmas Ration Distribution event on 9th December 2024 at Loreto Convent Darjeeling. The distribution was aimed at families in the local community who are struggling economically and would benefit from extra support during the festive season. By engaging the children in such charitable activities, the JPIC team also sought to instil values of empathy, kindness and social consciousness among the younger generation. The team, along with students and teachers worked together to collect and distribute essential food items to deserving families within the community. The distribution was done efficiently and in a spirit of mutual respect.
The event had a positive impact on the community, with individuals expressing gratitude for the support. Many were touched by the thoughtfulness of the students and the efforts put in by the JPIC team to ensure that no one was left behind.
