In all cultures all over the world, food is fundamental in expressing the vibrant heritage and it reflects a community's values, history and identity. Today, 21st August 2025, the students of classes 4 and 5, had the privilege of organizing a Food Festival showcasing the diverse aesthetics of Indian Cuisine.Food always brings people together, so we are truly honoured and grateful to have shared this wonderful experience with our esteemed guests from Loreto Convent Shillong, as well as the Loreto Convent Darjeeling family.It was evident through every person’s expression, that it evoked a deep association with the people who have put their heart and soul in creating the varieties of dishes. As food is symbolic of love when words are inadequate, we hope each is nourished in mind, body and soul.
